Talk at Cogenhoe - 13th September
Our friends at Cogenhoe & Whiston Heritage Society are hosting a talk on 13th September, entitled THE WOLLASTON WARRIOR BURIAL OF THE 7th CENTURY
They will have a replica of the Anglo-Saxon helmet, some chain mail and a scramsax, all made by Andy Chapman [retired local archaeologist], which visitors may try out. They have also asked to borrow two querns found at Wollaston.
