Data Protection

The Wollaston Heritage Society only stores data that is relevant to the Society’s activities. The data is held in the form of organisational and personal emails where appropriate.

 

How we use your data:

The Wollaston Heritage Society communicates information about the Society, related opportunities, and information by email. On occasions The Society also communicates information on behalf of other organisations where deemed necessary.

By signing the society’s membership form you have agreed that your details may be used by the Society to send you information deemed appropriate to you.

The Society Website may contain links to other websites of interest. Once you use a link to leave our website we do not have control of that website, or its privacy policy. Therefore, our privacy policy does not cover you.

The Society does not share members information and personal data with third parties

How we store your data:

All Membership details are held by the Wollaston Heritage Committee and are securely held on an electronic database. They are not passed on to third parties without your written consent. Contact may be made with members by email, SMS or phone and by post for members who do not have internet access.

If after three years you have made no contact with the society we will delete your information from the database.

Under the Date Protection Act of 1998 members may request details of the information that we hold about you. If any member would like a copy of that information please write to The Secretary, Wollaston Heritage Society, 102 High Street, Wollaston NN29 7RJ

There is a small fee of £5.00, which covers the cost of processing your request and getting the data to you.
